Lindsay was tragically murdered in Tokyo, Japan where she was working as an english teacher. She will be very sadly missed by her family and boyfriend Ryan.

People don't always get what they deserve...
... I knew Lindsay and her family from our shared time at Janice Rushton's School of Dance (those were the days). Lindsay and her sisters were genuinely three of the sweetest, brightest girls you could meet and you could tell they got those characteristics from their lovely parents. I guess if any family could get through something like this, they will. I remember you all with affection and can only hope that life treats you well in times to come. R.I.P. Lindsay.

Dear Hawker Family, i Just wanted to add a tribute toyour daughter, and say what a wonderful girl she sounded, I didn't know anything about her,but I had heard the stories of her murder inTokyo Japan, and how you were all campaigning to find her murderer, i Just wanted to say how inspired and moved I had felt byyour tireless campaigning byhaving watched themost recent tv programme Cutting Edge yesterday about families,becoming almost likie private detectives ,trying to find out the details about your beloved daughter; It must have taken a tremendous amount of courage onyour behalf and your two other beautiful daughters to have continued with your heartbreaking struggle of not only coping with all of this anxiety and stress,as well as trying to continue to rebuilding yourlives,and coming to terms with the realities of living,May I please give my condolensces to you all and then of course, finally seeing the relief in allof you faces once Lindsay's murderer had been found Please look after one another and continue to have healthy and happylives, you have doneyour daughter and sister proud in what you have all achieved.

Always with me
Lindsay, not a day goes past when I don't think about you. Even now, nearly two and-a-half years later, I cannot come to terms with the way that you were taken. We all talk about you often and you will ALWAYS be part of this family, even though you are gone. I miss you so much it hurts and would give anything to see you for just a second, just to remind myself how good life used to feel. Love you matey xx
